From the Founder

I was born in Lhasa, Tibet, and raised in India, between memory and movement, tradition and transition. Growing up in exile, I learned early that language is more than words. It carries identity, culture, continuity, and responsibility.

My academic journey began in Buddhist philosophy, where I earned a Master’s degree in Pramana, specializing in logic and analytical reasoning. I later completed a Bachelor’s degree in Tibetan Literature and History. These disciplines trained me not only to understand language, but to examine meaning with precision and accountability. Alongside classical education, I pursued computer training, determined to connect traditional knowledge with modern systems and digital tools.

I speak Tibetan as my native language and understand all three major dialects of Tibet. I also speak Hindi fluently, allowing me to navigate multilingual environments with clarity and cultural awareness. In addition to translation work, I have participated in field research, where contextual accuracy and linguistic sensitivity were essential.

Translation did not begin for me as a business, it began as service. I helped members of the community understand legal documents, medical records, and official correspondence. I saw how a single misunderstood sentence could shape someone’s future. Accuracy became responsibility. Language became duty.

In 2016, I founded Tibetan Rooster, an international Tibetan news platform recognized for responsible reporting and linguistic clarity. I have served twice under the Central Tibetan Administration and worked as an official parliamentary reporter, where every word carried institutional consequence and public trust.

Since 2013, I have remained devoted to translation and writing, contributing to and completing multiple published works, including the history of Norway translated into Tibetan, a project acknowledged by the Norwegian Ministry of Education. Over more than a decade, I have handled substantial volumes of complex legal, medical, governmental, and literary content for public-sector and international institutions.

Over the years, I have worked with more than 30 global agencies and numerous direct governmental clients, supporting projects involving Washington State departments, the New York Mayor’s Office, the State Secretariat for Migration (Switzerland), the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (Canada), HM Revenue and Customs (UK), the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Departments of Labor and Industries (Olympia, Washington), Departments of Education, industry safety authorities, and the Central Tibetan Administration.

After years of experience across institutions and international agencies, I recognized a clear gap: there was no dedicated, professional agency focused exclusively on Tibetan language services at a global standard. Lingua Tibet Global was established to fill that gap, to bring institutional-level quality, cultural depth, and modern translation technology together under one focused platform.

Today, my work stands at the meeting point of heritage and technology. I translate with the discipline of logic, and with the responsibility of history.
